About the Boys' AotW: 

Buckingham County was looking for a big upset last week against Bluestone, and with the help of a 29-point, 7-rebound, 3-steal effort from Leon Ragland, they got it, knocking off previously unbeaten Bluestone 69-66. It was part of a monster stretch for Ragland who had 20 points and seven boards in the Knights’ other win of the week and then scored 19 in the squad’s narrow loss to Prince Edward.

About the Girls' AotW: 

In a trio of solid wins over Collegiate, Norfolk Academy and Covenant, Steppe averaged 14.6 points and 6 rebounds per game for the Saints. Steppe has steadily emerged this year as yet another wrinkle in an already diverse STAB offense. Locking in on a single scorer is almost impossible for the Saints because they share the ball so well. Steppe is a big part of that transformation and a big reason the Saints are ranked No. 2 in VISAA’s Division I.
