Jefferson District cheerleaders go toe-to-toe

They work hard on Friday nights, and Thursday the Jefferson District's cheerleading teams got to take centerstage at the 2009 Jefferson District Cheer Championships. Scrimmage Play turned loose photographer Ashley Twiggs at the event. Four teams advanced from the meet to the Region II Championships.

Orange County (fourth place), Monticello (third), Fluvanna County (second) and Louisa County (first) all advanced to the Region II Championships.
