ACAC wraps indoor lacrosse tourney

ACAC’s Adventure Central arena hosted one of the area’s more unique events this weekend, the 2011 Winter laXgames tournament, two days of indoor lacrosse with boys from a slew of area teams going toe-to-toe Saturday while a number of girls teams took the floor Saturday.

A group of STAB players led by Dylan Park, Charles Sipe and Carter Speidel picked up the win in a 10-9 battle in the title game with a group of random players playing under the ACAC banner. The ACAC squad included Middleburg Academy's Tav Hafner and STAB's Scott Cathcart as well as former Albemarle goalie Zach DelGrosso standing in at goalie.
