Where are the WAHS players.
With respect to all of the atheles who made the team, I cannot believe that not one Western player made the all district team. What's going on? I don't think I've ever seen an all district team where all the teams were not represented.
I could understand it if players from the top 4 or 5 teams were the only ones represented, but to have 8 players from teams that finished below Western in the conference seem very unfair.
I think this was a low class act by the coaches to exclude players from just one team, especially when there were at least 3-4 worthy of the honor. You would never see this happen in male high school sports.
I invite all of the JD softball coaches to give us the reason behind this joke.

All District snub
How did Western win any games this year? They evidently didn't have a player in the top 36 according to the all district team. All of the coaches who either lost or only won by 1 or 2 points, I think that was everyone except Orange, need to be fired! You evidently are not doing your job!
No. All I can say is that you should be a shamed of yourselves. You snubbed an entire team and ripped off deserving girls. Usually, making an all district team is an honor, but not this years JD girls softball team. Your immature coaches have basically made the award into nothing. Way to go coaches you must be very proud!

There's a team missing?

This needs to be investigated. It would make a good article.

I think it all comes down to how hard your coaches lobby on their players's behalf. I would first make sure your coach attended the meeting. I have seen this on other JD teams as well. You have to take this list for what it is worth. Like I told my daughter, never make something a goal that you can't control.
WAHS softball
The coach was unable to attend the meeting, but sent an assistant. Evidently, the other coaches took advantage of this. VERY LOW CLASS!
Remember you got into the coaching profession for the kids and the love of the sport. It's about doing what's right and you have dishonored that commitment.
For those athletes who become coaches in the future, I hope you learn this is not how you act. You know who should have been on the team and was left off since you played against them.
Congratulations to those who made the team. To the coaches, I hope you can look yourself in the mirror and say that you did the right thing. You probably can and that's sad.
